I am obsessed with reading. To hear about how reading can absolutely change your life, check out my blog post here!
Here are my top 5 fiction books of all time!
I am absolutely in LOVE!
1. Gypsy Boy, Mikey Walsh
Okay, kicking us off in first place we have Gypsy Boy by Mikey Walsh.
This was one of the first books I completely and utterly fell in love with! I found this by accident when I was on holiday and I swapped my book for another one from the book collection.
WOW.
As the name suggests, this is a real-life story of a Romany Gypsy boy growing up. It is autobiographical and tells the story of Mikey’s life.
It will make you laugh, it will make you cry but you won’t be able to put it down!
I have since recommended this book to countless friends, even people who were adamant they didn’t like reading and this book has completely CHANGED THEIR MIND! Nowadays they are HUGE READERS all from just reading this ONE BOOK!

2. The Burning, Laura Bates
In a close second we have The Burning, by Laura Bates.
I had been reading Laura Bate’s feminist non-fiction for a while and then she went and dropped a fiction book.
WOW.
Just blew it out the park.
This book is such an eye opener and looks at how much pressure young people face at school today and how difficult social media can make it TEN TIMES WORSE.
I would 100% recommend this book for everyone!

3. The Tattooist of Auschwitz, Heather Morris
In third place we have the incredible Tattooist of Auschwitz.
’m sure you’ve probably heard of this once before! It is a HUGE bestseller and Heather Morris has even just released a sequel!
This is a real-life story of the tattooist of Auschwitz and such an incredible eye opener!
What breaks my heart the most is that the actual tattooist approached Heather Morris and said he needed to tell his story and she needed to write and publish it before he passed away!
Thank you to Lale Sokolov for sharing your story with the rest of the world and to Heather Morris for writing it.
There are just no words to describe the power and emotion this book holds.

5. Jane Eyre, Charlotte Bronte
Finally, last but definitely not least we have Jane Eyre.
It just wouldn’t be right if I didn’t add at least one classic to the list!
I am HUGE Bronte fan and I LOVE visiting their house (The Bronte Parsonage) in Haworth!
Did you know there were 3 Bronte sisters – Charlotte, Emily and Anne. Despite being women at a time when women faced HUGE sexism and basically living in the middle of nowhere, they managed to become some of the most famous authors of ALL TIME! These girls were seriously bad ass. They even published under fake names to pretend they were men! NOTHING was going to stop!
Jane Eyre is an incredible book and one of the most exciting and accessible classics out there!
Follow the life of a young orphan girls who ends up living a rather extraordinary life.
You will not be disappointed! Get your hands on it here!
